Episode 2 - Fred Sanford and the Holocaust
Doing big thangs for episode 2. Brand spankin' new Devin the Dude, lots of Michael Jackson but no Michael Jackson, and Quinton redeems himself with a hilarious rap song (you heard me. Rap.) about punchin' pregnant women in the stomach. Which is always fun. As usual heavy amounts of alcohol were involved in the making of this podcast, which basically means Quintoshi was funny and me and Reggie almost boxed over who had better songs to play. Good times had by all. Check it out!!

Other dope things that come on thursdays...........
New Speaker Madness'seses will be posted on thursdays only because we record them on wednesday nights, pure random chance, but I just realized that thursday was already a pretty dope day for dopeness in general. Especially if you live in Austin. Here's some other things that drop every thursday that make life better........
- The Austin Chronicle
- New episodes of the best show on TV- It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
- Terror Thursdays at the Alamo Drafthouse
- New Dan Savage sex advice columns
- Thursday night college football
- The sun and the moon
- New episodes of Fox's new show "Hole in the Wall", which is most definitely a sign of both the apocolypse AND the decline of western civilization, and therefore fun to watch just for historical purposes
Add on as needed. It's a good day.

1st day = 175 downloads
Wow.
I don't even know how much is a good number for a podcast download in one day, but that just sounds like a lot, or maybe I'm just easily amused. I'm sure there's plenty of popular and established podcasts that get thousands of downloads a day, but either way 175 people is still a lot more people than I expected to want to listen to us get drunk in a studio and make hand-banana references for an hour.
Seriously, thanks for all the messages, e-mails, phone calls, the response has been great. We didn't really know what to expect, but now we know where this thing can go and who it can reach, so keep checkin' back and it will only get better from now on. Literally, it can only get better. So new episodes every thursday like clockwork. Next week, we'll learn how to score dope in prison. I mean.........how not to score dope.........so you won't go to prison. Here's a cookie.
Sandman
P.S.- We all got a shitload of e-mails and myspace messages and all that kinda stuff, but no comments on the blog? Post 'em up here!! Don't be ashamed of these new feelings you're having, they're completely natural.

Episode One!!!
Sandman (SouthBound), Reggie Coby (Dred Skott), and Quintoshi (Sketcher's at Barton Creek Mall) bring you SPEAKER MADNESS, the brand new weekly podcast where two broke local rappers and one drunk shoe salesman throw songs at eachother like pipe bombs. You never know what you'll hear, but one things for sure........you'll hear it. Can't promise anything more than that. Except that we'll be drunk on every episode, we can promise that, too.
Music will run all genres and styles, from southern rap to detroit soul to D.C. 80's punk to stoner rock. Even without the microphones on, we'd be sittin' in the studio all night listening to this stuff and arguing about it anyway, so hopefully you will benefit from our wasted time. Without further ado, we give you..............
